Profile
Buck has performed his humorous stories from Maine to California, Canada to Texas and back home to Kentucky. He has even performed in England, traveling to Derby, for “The Flying Donkeys Storytelling Society.” Helen Frances, a well-known English Storyteller, commented on Buck’s performance, “You are the only American Storyteller that has ever made me yearn to visit your United States.” That same month he told his tales for the students at the largest primary school in Europe, the Hilton Primary School in Tutbury. Just before he returned to the United States, Buck also performed for the children at the Toyota’s “Rubber Bumpers Day Care Center.” Buck’s audience range and communications skills are wide and deep. XM Satellite Radio, the Trucker’s Channel 171, recently gave him a whole hour of precious airtime to entertain approximately three million truck drivers and listeners. Calling in, the audience compared his delivery and stories in a positive light with Jerry Clower, Roy Clark, Andy Griffith, and Will Rogers. Buck P. Creacy is a humorist, not a comedian. Dubbed “Working America’s Storyteller” Buck’s stories drink deeply from our common humanity and his wit, though sharp, is never mean-spirited. He uses story and humor to make life better for his audience. He began learning this craft, while shining shoes at Slim’s barbershop in Farmington, New Mexico. He learned he could shine more shoes because his customers were laughing. An “honest to God” humorist, Buck P. shares his stories at festivals, conferences, and the international corporate world as well as children. Choosing always to make his humor “safe” for any audience, Buck P. will delight your audience.
